Spawning and Breeding Birds

Birds spawn naturally across different biomes—ducks and geese in rivers, while swans, peacocks, seagulls, and other species inhabit skies and water. All birds have tiny baby versions. Guinea Fowls breed like chickens but can produce up to four babies at once, making them efficient for farming.

Gathering Food

Defeat birds to collect raw meat. Cook any bird egg in a furnace to create a simple meal. Turkeys offer a unique mechanic: feed them wheat to make them grow larger, and bigger turkeys drop more meat when defeated. Roosters and turkeys naturally scare away wild ocelots, protecting your farm.

The Rooster Buff

Place your bed within 32 blocks of a Rooster. When you sleep and wake up, you'll receive the "Roosters Calling" buff, which grants health regeneration and extra food saturation to start your day stronger.
