How to Change the Husk Spawn Chance in the Config
If you want more or fewer husks mixed in with your regular zombie spawns, you need to edit the mod's config file. This is the single most useful tweak for balancing your world.
Finding and Editing the Config
1. Locate your Minecraft instance folder and open the config directory.
2. Find the config file belonging to Husk Spawn Mod (it will be named after the mod).
3. Open it with a plain text editor. You are looking for the chanceZombieIsHusk entry.
4. Change the value to whatever you want. The value is a probability between 0.0 and 1.0. A value of 0.0 means no zombies ever become husks, while 1.0 means every zombie spawn becomes a husk.
5. Save the file and restart the game so the change takes effect.
Choosing a Good Value
The default sits at a low fraction, which keeps husks as an occasional surprise. If you are building a hardcore survival world or a modpack focused on undead danger, raise it. If you only want a rare taste of husks outside deserts, lower it. Because husks do not burn in daylight, a high value dramatically changes daytime danger, so test incrementally rather than jumping straight to the maximum.
