Locating Forest Cabins

Humans build small medieval wooden houses in forest biomes as part of their survival. These structures are natural spawning points and contain valuable loot.

Search Strategy

• Explore forest biomes: Regular forests and modded forest biomes both contain cabins. Wander or use high ground to spot structures.
• Listen for combat: Humans inside cabins may be fighting monsters or illagers. Listen for sounds to confirm occupation.
• Approach carefully: Humans defend their cabins and will attack on sight. Approach with full armor and weapons ready.

Looting the Cabin

• Clear inhabitants first: Defeat or drive away all humans near the cabin before looting.
• Search thoroughly: Check inside and around the structure for dropped weapons, armor, and supplies left by previous occupants.
• Watch for traps: Humans may have organized defenses or barricaded areas. Move cautiously through doorways.

Cabins respawn humans over time, so return periodically for fresh loot opportunities.
