Configure Human Behavior in Your World

Access Configuration Settings

The Human Encounters Mod includes options to customize how humans interact with your world. These settings let you tailor difficulty and gameplay style.

Key Configuration Options

  • Villager targeting: By default, humans may attack innocent villagers. Access mod config to toggle this behavior on or off based on your preference. Disabling this protects your village populations.
  • Epic Knights integration: If you play with the Epic Knights mod, enable or disable the equipment system. When active, humans receive additional weapons and armor tiers. When disabled, humans use standard gear only.
  • Armor and balance adjustments: With Epic Knights enabled, heavily armored knights lose enchantments and self-healing to maintain fair combat. Configure whether you want this balance applied.

Applying Changes

Modify settings in your mod configuration files before starting or during world creation. Changes take effect on new chunk generation, though existing human groups may retain old settings until they despawn and respawn.

Test settings in a test world first to ensure your preferred difficulty and behavior balance.
