Getting Started with the Monocle

Before you can view any horse statistics, you need to craft a monocle. This is the essential tool that unlocks the mod's core functionality.

Crafting the Monocle

1. Open your crafting table

2. Gather the required materials (check your crafting menu for the exact recipe)

3. Arrange them according to the monocle recipe pattern

4. Drag the crafted monocle into your inventory

Equipping and Using It

Once crafted, you have two options for using your monocle:

• Equip it in your head slot by placing it in your helmet armor slot, or
• Hold it in your hand while looking at horses

With the monocle active, simply look directly at a tamed horse (or llama) and the statistics will display on your screen. The overlay will show relevant attributes without requiring you to interact with the animal.

If you don't see stats appearing, verify that the horse is actually tamed, as this is the default requirement. You can adjust this setting in the mod's configuration file if needed.
