How to Find and Loot Underwater Ruins

Locating the Ruins

Underwater ruins from this mod spawn in ocean biomes and along shorelines, often in shallow-to-mid depth water. The most reliable way to find them is to sail or swim along a coast while watching the seafloor through a Water Breathing potion or a Conduit. Small ruins are the most common and easiest to spot; submerged cities are much larger and usually sit in deeper ocean. Bring a Dolphin's Grace effect (from swimming near dolphins) to cover ground faster.

Looting Safely

Once you spot a ruin, mark it with a torch or a placed block so you can return. Break in through a wall rather than the roof to avoid flooding surprises, and place a Respiration or Water Breathing source before entering enclosed rooms. Inside you will typically find chests, decorative blocks, and hidden compartments behind cracked walls or under floor tiles — mine suspicious blocks to reveal them. Watch for the mod's new drowned variants, which can spawn inside and around the structures; clear them with a ranged weapon or a Trident before opening chests. Carry an empty bucket and blocks to seal water leaks, and bring a Silk Touch pickaxe if you want to relocate decorative ruin blocks back to your base.
