Homeostatic Mod makes temperature and thirst core survival mechanics. Your body temperature is affected by your environment, biome conditions, and activity level. Getting wet causes rapid cooling and poses serious danger—manage moisture carefully.

Thirst increases based on heat, temperature, and exertion. When overheated, you'll consume water quickly; failing to drink leads to negative effects or death. Armor can be modified with thermal properties to protect against extreme climates, letting you customize your gear for different biomes.

The mod recalibrates biome temperatures to match their appearance, so snowy areas are genuinely cold and deserts are hot. Plan your expeditions with water and appropriate armor modifications in mind.
