Prepare a Standby Shell

Before engaging in dangerous activities, create a clone shell and place it in a safe location away from combat or hazards. Ensure the Shell Forge containing your backup body is powered and ready.

How Automatic Revival Works

When you die on Hardcore mode, the mod automatically transfers your consciousness to your nearest available shell instead of ending your world. You'll wake up in the standby vessel, giving you a second chance.

Maintain Your Backup

Regularly create new shells as backups, especially before major expeditions or boss fights. Keep at least one shell in a secure base far from danger.

Note that your clone body will have its own inventory and experience level separate from your original body. Plan accordingly—items and levels don't transfer between shells, so stock your backup body with essential supplies before risky activities.
