Farm Froglights by Converting Magma Cubes

Locating Magma Cubes

Magma Cubes spawn naturally in the Nether, particularly in Basalt Deltas and Lava Ocean biomes. You can also find them in Magma Block formations. Bring your held frog and prepare to convert them into froglights.

Converting Magma Cubes to Froglights

1. Equip your held frog in your hand

2. Locate a Magma Cube in the Nether

3. Aim your frog directly at the Magma Cube

4. Use your frog's tongue ability

5. The Magma Cube will instantly transform into a froglight block

The color of the froglight depends on which frog variant you're holding—each of the three frog types produces a different froglight color. This is much faster than building complex traps or waiting for natural conversions.

Scaling Your Farm

For larger operations, corral multiple Magma Cubes into a confined area using blocks or fences. Then systematically convert them one by one with your frog. This method requires no redstone, no mob grinders, and minimal setup time.
