How to Use the Lantern, Sign, and Slime/Honey Physics
What gets physics
Hold My Items applies physics to several categories: lanterns, slime, honey, hanging signs, and small loose items like saplings, leaves, flowers, slimeballs, feathers, and pufferfish. "Physics" here means these objects sway, swing, or react to movement instead of staying perfectly static.
Seeing it in action
1. Place a hanging sign and walk past or bump it. It should swing on its chain rather than stay rigid.
2. Carry or place a lantern and move around it. The lantern should sway with a pendulum motion.
3. Drop or hold small items such as feathers, saplings, or flowers and watch them react rather than sit flat.
4. Interact with slime blocks and honey blocks to see the intended squishy response.
Tuning and troubleshooting
These effects are visual and do not change block behavior, so slime still bounces you and honey still slows you as normal. If a hanging sign or lantern does not move, confirm you are looking at the mod's supported object and not a similar block from another mod, which will not have the physics applied. If motion looks too strong or jittery, reduce it by removing other mods that also animate blocks, since overlapping physics systems cause erratic movement.
