See Your Hands Holding Food and Potions

Viewing Food Items

Hold in Hands renders your hands gripping consumable items just like tools and weapons. Pick up any food item—raw beef, bread, apples, or cooked meat—and look down in first-person view. Your fingers will wrap around the food naturally.

Viewing Potions and Drinks

Potions display with visible hands holding the bottle. This includes:

• Regular potions (Healing, Water Breathing, etc.)
• Lingering potions
• Splash potions

When you hold a potion, you'll see your character's grip on the bottle from your first-person perspective, making consumption feel more immersive.

Checking the Creative Inventory

You can preview how food and potions look in your hands before using them:

1. Open Creative Mode inventory

2. Navigate to the Food and Drinks tab

3. Hover over any item to see it displayed in your hands

4. Switch to Survival and pick up the same item to see the grip in action

This preview system helps you understand how every consumable will appear when you're actually holding it during gameplay.
