Lock Items and Recipes Behind Specific Game Stages

Accessing the Stage Editor

Open your pause menu and locate the stage editor button. This interface lets you manage all locked content without editing configuration files.

Adding Items to a Stage

Create or select an existing stage, then add items you want to lock. You can block individual tools, weapons, armor pieces, or entire mod item sets. When items are locked, players cannot craft, use, or place them until they unlock the associated stage.

Locking Recipes

Beyond hiding items from inventory, you can lock specific crafting recipes. This means a player might see the item exists but cannot craft it until the stage unlocks. The locked recipe will display a lock icon in their crafting menu with a message explaining which stage is required.

Testing Your Locks

After configuring locked items and recipes, test by switching to a fresh player profile or using commands to verify the locks work as intended. Items should be inaccessible and show clear lock messages when players attempt to use them.
