Block Mobs and Control Mob Drops by Game Stage

Preventing Mob Spawning

You can restrict which mobs appear in your world based on the current game stage. In the stage editor, select mobs you want to block from spawning. Until players unlock the appropriate stage, these mobs simply will not appear, keeping early-game areas safe from dangerous creatures.

Stopping Mob Attacks

Even if a mob somehow exists in an earlier stage, you can prevent it from attacking players. This is useful for mobs that should be visible but harmless until progression advances. Configure this per mob and per stage.

Controlling Mob Loot

Mob drops change based on stages. You can hide valuable items from monster loot until players reach later eras, or swap drops entirely. For example, early-stage zombies might drop only rotten flesh, while late-stage zombies drop rare materials.

Testing Mob Restrictions

Travel to different biomes and stages to verify mobs spawn or don't spawn as intended. Check that drops match your configuration by killing mobs at different progression points. Use the stage editor to adjust restrictions if needed.
