Access and Manage Ship Cargo Storage

Locate Your Ship's Storage

Different vessels carry different cargo capacity. The River Skiff has minimal storage, the Explorer Sloop features a 9-slot deck chest, and the Merchant Schooner includes a large 27-slot hold. Look for wooden crates or barrels on the deck.

Open the Storage Container

Approach the cargo chest or barrel while standing on the ship deck. Hold Sneak (default Shift) and right-click the container to open its inventory. You can now deposit or withdraw items.

Manage Your Inventory

Drag items from your inventory into the storage slots, or pull items out to your inventory. The Merchant Schooner's expanded hold is ideal for hauling loot from distant expeditions or trading runs between ports.

Close and Secure

Close the container GUI by pressing Escape or clicking outside the window. Your items remain safely stored even if you leave the ship and return later. The storage persists as long as the vessel remains in the world.
