Basic Metalworking Setup

Hephaestus Forge Mod provides machines and blocks for processing metals. Start by gathering raw ores from the world—the mod generates its own ore types alongside vanilla ores. Place your ore into the forge machines to melt it down into usable materials.

You can also recycle old tools and armor by putting them into the forge to recover their raw materials. The mod includes decorative dark stone blocks for building your metalworking area.

If you use AllTheOres or FTB Materials, their custom alloys and ores are compatible with Hephaestus forges, letting you process everything in one setup. Arrange your machines with levers and basins to create an efficient production line for your metalworking needs.
