Taming Creatures

Hedge's Bestiary Mod lets you turn wild beasts into loyal companions. To tame creatures, you'll need to craft special treats—Plain Treats, Seasoned Treats, and Hearty Treats—and offer them to the animals you encounter.

Different creatures may prefer different treat types, so experiment to find what works. Once tamed, your new companions gain unique abilities that vary by species. Check the in-game Patchouli guidebook for specific taming methods and creature behaviors. You can also adjust taming difficulty for individual creatures through the mod's configuration files if you want to customize your experience.
