Build a Themed Village with Multiple House Styles

Selecting Complementary Designs

Hearthbound Blueprints includes 14 distinct surface house designs: cottages, cabins, bakeries, blacksmith shops, taverns, manors, and farmhouses. Choose designs that share similar architectural styles or materials to create visual cohesion. For example, pair a bakery with a farmhouse, or cluster a blacksmith shop near a tavern for a functional village center.

Organizing Your Settlement

Plan your village layout before placing stations. Leave space between buildings for roads, gardens, or decorative elements. Consider terrain—cottages suit hillsides, while manors work well on flat ground. Group functional buildings (blacksmith, bakery) together and residential structures (cabins, farmhouses) in separate areas.

Building and Decorating

Place Blueprint Stations for each building and gather materials. The mod's custom blocks like roof shingles, shutters, and hearths spawn automatically, giving every structure a finished appearance. Once buildings are complete, add your own decorative touches: fences, lanterns, pathways, and landscaping to tie the village together into a cohesive community.
