Heart Crystal Shards are hidden in loot chests throughout the world. Your best early-game options are:

• Dungeons — small underground rooms with spawners; usually contain 1–2 chests
• Abandoned Mineshafts — sprawling cave systems; check multiple chest minecarts
• Desert Pyramids — large sandstone structures in deserts; break through to the central chamber
• Jungle Temples — stone structures hidden in jungle biomes; solve the puzzle or mine through

How to Farm Efficiently

1. Use a cave finder or spelunking strategy to locate mineshafts quickly — they're common and hold multiple shards

2. Bring a pickaxe, torches, and a sword for mob defense

3. Open every chest you find; shards appear randomly in loot

4. For late-game farming, visit End Cities and Bastion Remnants (Nether) for higher shard concentrations

5. Consider strip-mining at specific depths if you want guaranteed structure spawning
