How to Wear and Display Mob Heads

Equipping a Head

To wear a mob head, simply place it in your helmet slot in your inventory. The head will appear on your character's shoulders, replacing your normal helmet. This works with any head in the mod—from common zombie heads to unusual ones like axolotl or zombie horse heads.

Decorating with Heads

Heads can be placed on blocks like decorative items. Right-click on a block surface to place a head there. Arrange multiple heads to create displays, shrines, or trophy rooms. Heads can be oriented in different directions depending on where you click.

Creative Display Ideas

Use heads to decorate your base entrance, create a mob museum, or build a trophy wall from your hunts. Combine heads with other blocks like dark oak wood, stone, or dark prismarine for thematic displays. Heads work well in both survival and creative builds.

Removing Placed Heads

Break a placed head with any tool or your hand to collect it back into your inventory.
