Enable and Disable Your Headlight

Toggling the Headlight On and Off

Your headlight can be toggled quickly without opening any menus. By default, press a designated keybind (check your controls settings) to turn your headlight on or off. The light will immediately appear above your head when activated.

Checking if Your Headlight is Active

When enabled, you'll see a bright light source emanating from your character's head position. The light follows your view direction and movement in real time. If you don't see illumination around you, verify the mod is installed correctly and the keybind hasn't been rebound to a different key.

Why Toggle It?

You may want to disable your headlight in bright areas like the surface during daytime, or when you want to experience darkness for atmosphere. Toggling also helps preserve performance if you're playing on lower-end hardware, though the mod is generally lightweight.
