Equipping Your First Plate

Start by crafting the Punishment Table at a workbench—this is your dedicated station for assembling tactical gear and inserting ballistic plates. Once built, use it to craft a tactical vest, pants, and boots, then equip them to your standard armor slots.

Ballistic plates slot into a dedicated Curios inventory space separate from your chest armor. Insert a plate to gain extra protection and bullet deflection. The mod offers five tiers: Standard Ballistic, Iron-Reinforced, Gold-Reinforced, Diamond-Reinforced (with explosion resistance), and Netherite-Reinforced (with built-in fire resistance).

For emergency survival, apply a White Paint Can to your vest to unlock the Last Stand mechanic—this keeps you alive at one heart during fatal damage, granting a brief window to escape. Painted vests may evolve into blood-stained variants with improved durability and additional daily saves.
