Maximize Nether Star Drops with Looting

Enable Looting on Nether Stars

This mod allows the Looting enchantment to affect Nether Star drops from Withers. By default, this feature may be disabled or set to a low rate. Check your configuration files to enable it and adjust the multiplier to your preference.

Enchant Your Weapon

Apply the Looting enchantment to your primary Wither-fighting weapon. Higher enchantment levels increase the chance of additional Nether Stars dropping. Looting III provides the maximum benefit.

Understand the Drop Rate

The mod uses a configurable rate to determine how Looting affects Nether Stars. This means each level of Looting increases your chances of getting extra stars, but the exact multiplier depends on your config settings. Adjust this value if you find star acquisition too easy or too difficult.

Plan Your Farming Strategy

If you're planning to fight multiple Withers for star collection, ensure your Looting weapon is always equipped for the killing blow. Consider whether the increased difficulty from fighting more Withers justifies the extra stars you'll obtain.
