Discover Abilities Through Combat
Most special abilities are intentionally designed to be discovered during fights rather than explained upfront. As you face more Withers, watch for unusual behavior: unexpected teleportation, rapid health regeneration, enhanced attack patterns, or environmental effects. Each ability presents a different tactical challenge.
Adapt Your Strategy
If a Wither teleports frequently, stay mobile and avoid clustering in one area. If it regenerates health rapidly, focus on sustained damage output rather than burst attacks. Some abilities may require specific counters—experiment with different weapon types, potion effects, or positioning strategies.
Check Your Configuration
If an ability feels unfair or breaks your gameplay, check the mod's config files. Each ability can be disabled entirely or adjusted in strength. If a specific ability causes problems in your current dimension, you can blacklist it there without affecting other dimensions.
Learn from Failure
Defeats provide valuable information about which abilities you're facing. Use each attempt to refine your approach, upgrade your gear, and develop better tactics for the next encounter.
