Troubleshoot Missing Halloween Textures or Sounds
Check Resource Pack Status
If Halloween elements aren't appearing:
1. Verify the pack is in your Selected list (not just Available)
2. Confirm it's positioned above any conflicting packs in the Selected list
3. Restart your world completely (exit to main menu, then rejoin)
Fix Common Issues
Textures still look normal:
- The pack may not be loading due to a conflict. Try moving it to the top of your Selected list
- Check that your Minecraft version matches the pack's requirements
- Delete and reinstall the resource pack if it's corrupted
Sounds are missing:
- Verify Music and Sound are both enabled in Options
- Check your volume settings aren't muted
- Ensure the resource pack folder contains audio files (not just textures)
Performance issues:
- Halloween packs with detailed textures can impact FPS. Lower your graphics settings or reduce render distance if needed
If problems persist after these steps, try disabling other resource packs temporarily to identify conflicts.
