How to Fish in the Nether and End Dimensions

Accessing Dimension-Specific Fishing

Gone Fishing! extends fishing beyond the Overworld. The Nether and End have their own unique fishing mechanics and exclusive fish variants.

Steps to Fish in the Nether:

1. Build or find a Nether portal and enter the Nether dimension

2. Locate a lava lake or lava source block

3. Use your fishing rod on the lava (not water)

4.

5. Reel in Nether-exclusive aquatic creatures

Steps to Fish in the End:

1. Defeat the Ender Dragon or use an End portal

2. Enter the End dimension

3. Find water sources in the End (or create one)

4. Fish normally with your rod

5. Catch End-dimension-specific fish

Important Notes

Dimension-specific fishing may have unique mechanics—lava fishing in the Nether behaves differently from water fishing. Bring appropriate gear and be prepared for environmental hazards. The fish you catch in these dimensions are typically rarer and more valuable than Overworld variants.
