How to Craft a Golden Feather

Gathering the Ingredients

You need feathers and gold to make a Golden Feather. Feathers come from killing chickens or from chicken farms, and you can also find them in chests in villages and other structures. For the gold portion, you need gold ingots, which you can get by mining gold ore, smelting gold ore in a furnace, or finding them in loot chests. If you have a gold farm or a zombie piglin farm, that makes gathering gold much easier.

Crafting the Item

The Golden Feather follows the same recipe pattern as a Golden Apple, but with feathers instead of apples. Place gold ingots in the outer ring of the crafting grid and a feather in the center slot. This means you need eight gold ingots and one feather per Golden Feather. Once crafted, the Golden Feather appears in your inventory as a consumable item. You can craft multiple at once if you have enough materials. Keep in mind that gold is not renewable on all setups, so plan your gold usage carefully if you also need it for other recipes like Golden Apples or powered rails.
