Summon and Command Your First Dark Servant

Gathering Materials

Before you can summon a servant, you'll need to craft a summoning focus or staff. Collect soul sand, dark materials, and essence drops from defeated mobs. These form the foundation of any summoning ritual.

Performing the Summoning Ritual

1. Equip your summoning focus or staff

2. Find an open area with enough space for your servant to spawn

3. Use the focus on the ground to begin the ritual

Controlling Your Servant

Once summoned, your servant will attack hostile mobs on sight and defend you in combat. You can dismiss servants by sneaking and interacting with them, or by using a command focus to manage multiple servants at once. Keep your servants close during exploration—they're valuable allies but can be defeated by strong enemies. If a servant falls, you'll need to gather materials and summon a replacement.
