Survive a Kaiju Attack on Your Base

Prevent Kaiju Spawning Near Home

The best defense is prevention. Never summon kaiju near your base, village, or important structures. Kaiju destroy terrain during combat, and their destructive radius is massive. If you must fight near civilization, do so only after moving your valuables and creating significant distance.

Build Defensive Structures

If a kaiju somehow approaches your base, construct barriers using blast-resistant blocks. Some materials withstand monster attacks better than others. Create multiple layers of defense and leave escape routes for yourself. Height advantage can help—kaiju may struggle to reach elevated positions.

Lure Them Away

If a kaiju spawns or wanders too close, use ranged attacks or movement to redirect it toward open terrain. Lead it away from your structures and toward the prepared battleground. Most kaiju follow threats, so maintain distance while guiding them.

Prepare Escape Routes

Always have a way out. Keep your base accessible via boat, minecart, or flight if possible. Store duplicates of essential items in multiple locations. If your base is damaged, you'll need resources to rebuild quickly.
