Create a Permanent NPC Village Using Glued Villagers

Setting Up Your Village

Glue allows you to transform villagers into permanent NPCs that stay in one location. This is perfect for building custom trading hubs or themed settlements.

Step 1: Gather or breed villagers and position them where you want them in your village.

Step 2: Use Glue on each villager by right-clicking them with the item. Villagers will become stuck in place immediately.

Step 3: Build structures around your glued villagers—shops, homes, or market stalls. Since they won't wander, your layout stays organized.

Step 4: Trade with glued villagers normally. They function exactly like free villagers for trading purposes, so you can still buy and sell items.

Maintaining Your Village

Glued villagers retain their professions and will continue to work their job blocks if available. Place lecterns, brewing stands, or other profession blocks nearby so your villagers stay employed and offer good trades. They'll look around and make sounds naturally, creating a lively atmosphere without the chaos of mobs wandering off.
