What Gets the Glow Effect

The Glowing Items Resource Pack applies glowing outlines to specific item categories. Enchanted tools and weapons are the primary focus—any sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, or hoe with enchantments will display a magical aura. Special items like the Totem of Undying and Nether Star also receive the effect by default.

How to Identify Glowing Items

Open your inventory and look for items with a colored outline around their edges. The glow is most visible against dark backgrounds. Enchanted items will show their aura whether you're holding them in your hand, viewing them in your inventory, or seeing them on the ground. Non-enchanted tools and basic items will not have the effect.

Checking Item Status

If an item doesn't appear to glow, verify it actually has enchantments applied. Use an Enchanting Table or Anvil to add enchantments to your tools if you want to see the effect. The pack only highlights items that meet its criteria—standard, unenchanted items remain unchanged.
