Troubleshooting Missing Glow Effects

Verify Resource Pack is Active

Check your Resource Packs menu in Options. The Glowing Items Resource Pack must be in your active packs list (right side), not the available packs list. If it's in the wrong section, drag it to the active side.

Check Item Requirements

The glow effect only appears on items the pack is designed to highlight. Verify you're looking at an enchanted tool, weapon, or special item like a Totem of Undying. Regular, unenchanted items won't glow.

Adjust Graphics Settings

If the glow is too faint to see, try increasing your game's brightness or contrast. Some graphics settings can make glowing effects less visible. Experiment with different brightness levels.

Reload the Pack

Toggle the resource pack off and back on in your Resource Packs menu. This forces the game to reload all textures and effects. Sometimes a simple reload fixes display issues.

Check for Conflicts

Other resource packs may override the glow effects. Try disabling other packs temporarily to see if the glow appears. If it does, you may need to adjust pack load order or choose between conflicting packs.
