Make Connected Textures Work for Blocks

Open Optifine Settings

Access your video settings and navigate to the Optifine options menu.

Enable Alternate Blocks

Locate and turn on the Alternate Blocks setting. This feature is essential for the resource pack to display its connected texture system, which makes blocks blend together seamlessly.

Look for Connected Textures Option

Some Optifine versions have a dedicated Connected Textures setting—enable this if available. This allows smooth stone, logs, ore blocks, and other materials to visually connect when placed next to each other, creating the appearance of one unified surface rather than individual tiles.

Test in Your World

Place multiple stone or log blocks adjacent to each other. With the settings active, you'll see the textures flow smoothly between blocks instead of showing repetitive individual patterns. Ore blocks will also blend more naturally into stone surroundings.

If blocks still appear disconnected or tiled, double-check that both Alternate Blocks and Connected Textures are fully enabled in your video menu.
