Why Glamorous Glass Works for Skylights

The removal of default glass streaks makes Glamorous Glass ideal for overhead installations. Streaks in regular glass can create distracting patterns when viewed from below, but this pack eliminates that problem entirely.

Installation Steps

1. Identify your ceiling location and mark out a rectangular or custom-shaped opening

2. Replace the ceiling blocks with glass blocks in your chosen pattern

3. For larger skylights, use glass panes to create a grid structure—the seamless borders prevent visual clutter

4. Layer glass blocks if you want depth or a framed appearance

Lighting Considerations

Since Glamorous Glass is completely transparent without visual noise, natural light flows through uninterrupted. If building underground or in low-light areas, place light sources above the skylight to simulate natural illumination.

For aesthetic variety, consider tinted glass in specific panes to create subtle color gradients or themed lighting effects. The 50% transparency of stained glass can soften harsh daylight while maintaining visibility and elegance.
