Beginning Your Journey

Start by opening the Ghostworks Guide to meet Luma, your fairy companion. She will introduce you to three different progression paths: Balance, Hearth, or Wanderer. Each path teaches you about magic and nature differently.

Begin gathering Pixie Dust from nature and Cursed Dust from dark magic sources around your world. Build a Cursed Incinerator to process your dark materials into useful crafting components. As you progress, you can construct additional factory machines like the Cursed Diamond Press and Cursed Evaporator to refine materials further.

Be mindful of your Curse Pressure level—carrying too many cursed items will attract dangerous mobs to hunt you. Balance your inventory carefully and use the special compass provided to locate boss arenas when you're ready for combat.
