Set Up a Fermentation Tank for Sake

Build Your Fermentation Station

Place a Fermentation Tank in a dedicated brewing area. This block is your key to making alcoholic drinks and fermented ingredients. Position it near your other cooking stations for convenience, and consider adding an Ingredient Rack nearby to store your materials.

Prepare Your Base Ingredients

Gather rice and koji (a fermentation starter). You may need to craft or find koji depending on your mod version. Place these into the Fermentation Tank using the block's interface.

Start the Fermentation Process

Once loaded, the tank will begin fermenting. This takes time—fermentation isn't instant. You can leave it running while you do other tasks. The tank will show progress, and you'll know it's ready when the interface indicates completion.

Collect Your Sake

When fermentation finishes, interact with the tank to collect your finished sake. You can drink it for hunger restoration and special effects, or use it as an ingredient in other recipes. Experiment with different base ingredients to create variations.
