Find Deer in Sakura Forests

Deer spawn in the new sakura forest biome added by this mod. Explore these distinctive pink-flowered areas to locate herds. Deer are passive mobs, so they won't attack you—approach carefully to avoid them fleeing.

Hunt and Collect Venison

Use a sword or bow to defeat deer. They drop raw venison when killed. Collect multiple pieces if you plan to cook larger meals or share food with other players.

Cook Venison at a Cooking Station

Raw venison can be cooked using a Steamer or regular cooking pot. Cooked venison restores more hunger than raw meat and can be used as an ingredient in complex dishes.

Create Venison Dishes

Cooked venison works well in stews, rice bowls, and other Japanese-style meals. Combine it with vegetables and rice at a Cuisine Board or cooking pot to create filling placeable meals that multiple players can enjoy together.
