Gems and Crystals Mod Overview

What This Mod Adds

Gems and Crystals Mod expands Minecraft with new gem types—Rubies, Sapphires, Topaz, Amethyst, and Quartz—each with matching tools and armor sets. Emerald tools and armor are also included.

Tool and Armor Strength Tiers

Tools and armor are ranked by strength: Ruby and Sapphire are the strongest (rarer than Diamond), followed by Emerald (between Ruby/Sapphire and Diamond), then Diamond, Topaz (slightly weaker than Diamond), Amethyst (stronger than Iron but weaker than Topaz), and Quartz (weaker than Iron).

Configuration

You can enable or disable individual ores through the configuration file. Quartz ore can optionally spawn in the Overworld if enabled in config.
