Making Gazebos Spawn More Often (Config Guide)
When to Touch the Config
If you have explored several villages across the right biomes and still have not found a gazebo, the default rarity is working against you. The mod exposes a world generation config specifically so you can tune this. The file lives at config/gazebo/world_gen.json.
How to Adjust Spawn Rate
1. Close Minecraft fully before editing — config changes made while the game is running may be overwritten on exit.
2. Navigate to your instance's config folder and open the gazebo subfolder.
3. Open world_gen.json in a plain text editor. It controls how gazebos are placed during world generation.
4. Increase the relevant frequency/rarity value to make gazebos more common. The exact key names are visible in the file itself — read the existing entries rather than guessing.
5. Save the file and relaunch the game.
Important Caveat
World generation settings only affect chunks that have not been generated yet. Villages you have already visited will not retroactively gain gazebos. To see the effect of your change, you must travel into fresh, unexplored terrain. If you want to test quickly, start a brand-new world after editing the config so every village generates under the new rules.
