Identifying Which Gazebo Variant You've Found

The Five Variants

Gazebos come in five biome-specific designs: Desert, Plains, Savanna, Snowy, and Taiga. The variant is determined by the biome the village generated in, so the gazebo you find always matches its surroundings. Knowing which one you are looking at helps you confirm you are in a valid gazebo biome and not wasting time.

How to Tell Them Apart

1. Note the biome you are standing in. If it is not Desert, Plains, Savanna, Snowy, or Taiga, a gazebo will not be present.

2. Observe the building materials. Each variant uses blocks that fit its biome's palette — a Snowy gazebo will read as cold and pale, a Savanna or Desert one as warm and dry, and so on.

3. Check the roof and pillar style. The overall pavilion shape is shared, but the construction details differ between variants.

4. Confirm the Spell Binding Table is inside regardless of variant — every gazebo contains one, so the variant is cosmetic and does not change function.

Why It Matters

Since all variants serve the same purpose, the variant itself does not change your strategy. What matters is that spotting a biome-appropriate gazebo confirms you are searching in the correct biomes. If you keep finding villages in unsupported biomes, shift your exploration toward the five listed types.
