How to Find a Gazebo in Your World

Understanding Where Gazebos Spawn

Gazebos generate as part of village structures, not as standalone world features. This means you cannot simply wander a random biome and expect to stumble on one — you need to locate a village first. Because they are attached to villages, the fastest approach is to find multiple villages and inspect each one carefully rather than exploring aimlessly.

Practical Search Steps

1. Craft or obtain a method of fast travel (boat along coastlines, elytra, or a horse) to cover ground quickly.

2. Seek out villages in the five supported biome types: Desert, Plains, Savanna, Snowy, and Taiga. Villages in other biomes will not contain a gazebo variant.

3. When you reach a village, walk the full perimeter and check the outskirts — gazebos often sit at the edge of the village footprint rather than dead center.

4. Look for a small open-air pavilion-style structure with a roof supported by pillars; the design differs per biome but the silhouette is consistent.

5. If a village has no gazebo, move on. Do not waste time re-searching the same village.

If You Keep Failing

Gazebos are intentionally uncommon. If you have checked many villages with no luck, the spawn rate is adjustable in the config file at config/gazebo/world_gen.json. Raising the frequency there (then generating new chunks) is the reliable fix when RNG is against you.
