The polar bear is a passive animal that spawns naturally in four biomes: Deep Frozen Ocean, Frozen Ocean, Ice Spikes, and Snowy Plains. It can be found roaming the cold, icy parts of the world.

Players kill polar bears to collect the Raw Cod and Raw Salmon they drop. A spawn egg for the polar bear also exists, allowing players to place one directly into the world.
