Defeat Overworld Bosses and Earn Bonus Rolls

Locate and Prepare for Scaled Bosses

Four overworld bosses spawn across your world and scale to match your current player level. This means you can challenge them at any point in your progression, but they'll always pose a threat. Explore your world to find them, or listen for their distinctive sounds and particle effects.

Build Defensively Before Fighting

Equip armor and weapons appropriate to your level. Stock healing items and consider your origin's strengths—a flying origin can kite ranged attacks, while a tanky origin should focus on sustained damage. Bring blocks to build cover if needed.

Claim Your Rewards

Defeating a boss grants:

• Experience points toward your next level
• Bonus genetic rolls to reroll your origin or traits
• Stat boosts that strengthen your character

Bonus genetic rolls are valuable for pivoting your build or refining your current origin. Use them strategically to unlock new powers or optimize existing ones. Since bosses scale with you, you can farm them repeatedly as you level up for additional rolls.
