Getting Started with Partial Blocks

Understanding Block Variants

This mod adds slabs, stairs, walls, fences, and other partial-block variants to many vanilla blocks. Not every block receives every variant type—the distribution follows a pattern:

• Walls: Metal and stone-type blocks
• Slabs & Stairs: Metal, wood, and stone-type blocks
• Fences & Gates: Wood-type blocks and nether bricks
• Buttons & Pressure Plates: Metal, wood, and base stone types (excludes decorative variants like cracked or polished)

Wood variants use the Sawmill to craft, which works like a stonecutter but accepts planks instead of stone. This avoids recipe conflicts with vanilla crafting.
