Use the Firecannon for Area Damage and Single Shots
Firecannon Mechanics
The Firecannon is a heavy weapon consuming Blaze Rods or Blaze Powder to fire armor-piercing shots. It can switch between single-target and area-of-effect modes, making it versatile for different combat scenarios.
Operating the Firecannon
1. Stock ammunition. Collect Blaze Rods from Blazes or convert them into Blaze Powder. Keep a large supply in your inventory.
2. Switch firing modes. Toggle between single-shot and area-blast modes. Single shots deal concentrated damage to one target; area blasts damage multiple mobs in a radius.
3. Choose your mode by situation. Use single-shot against tough bosses or isolated threats. Deploy area blasts when surrounded or clearing groups.
4. Account for reload time. The Firecannon fires slower than the Flintlock. Plan your shots and maintain distance.
5. Combine with positioning. Use terrain to your advantage—fire from elevated positions or behind cover to minimize return fire.
Ammunition Efficiency
Blaze Rods are more efficient than powder but harder to farm. Use powder for practice or low-priority targets, save rods for serious threats.
