Forge Hammer Dual Purpose

Forge Hammers function as both melee weapons and mining tools. They deal solid damage to mobs while breaking stone blocks like a pickaxe—eliminating the need to carry separate tools.

Combat and Mining

1. Mine stone efficiently. Swing the Forge Hammer at stone, deepslate, and related blocks. It breaks them faster than a pickaxe and deals damage simultaneously if mobs approach.

2. Fight with melee. Use the Forge Hammer against mobs for reliable damage output. Its weight makes it slower than swords but more powerful per hit.

3. Apply pickaxe enchantments. Unlike swords, Forge Hammers accept pickaxe enchantments—add Efficiency, Unbreaking, or Fortune to enhance mining or durability.

4. Avoid sword enchantments. Sharpness and similar sword enchantments won't work on Forge Hammers. Stick to pickaxe-compatible upgrades.

5. Combine with armor. Pair your Forge Hammer with frontier armor for a complete melee-mining loadout.

Inventory Management

Carrying a Forge Hammer reduces inventory slots needed for separate pickaxes, leaving room for more resources or ammunition.
