Ensuring Compatibility with Mods and Other Resource Packs
Load Order Matters
Fresh Textures Resource Pack works best when properly positioned in your resource pack list. The order determines which textures take priority when conflicts occur.
Setting Up Multiple Packs
1. Open your resource packs menu in Minecraft
2. If using Fresh Textures alongside other packs, place it above packs that add custom textures
3. Place it below packs that should override it (like mod-specific texture packs)
4. Test by loading a world and checking if textures appear as intended
5. If textures look wrong, adjust the order and reload
Compatibility with Mods
Fresh Textures is designed to work with vanilla Minecraft. When using mods:
- Mod-added blocks may not have Fresh Textures applied—this is normal
- Vanilla blocks touched by mods will still display Fresh Textures
- If a mod includes its own resource pack, load Fresh Textures first, then the mod pack
- Check mod documentation if specific texture conflicts occur
Testing Your Setup
Load a creative world and inspect various blocks to confirm textures display correctly before playing survival.
