Finding a Tameable Bird

Not all birds in Fowl Play can be tamed. Look for species that are known to bond with players—these are typically smaller, more docile birds found in forests and near settlements. Check your surroundings carefully; tameable birds often perch on trees or the ground.

Taming Process

Once you've spotted a candidate, approach slowly to avoid startling it. You'll need the correct taming item for that species—different birds prefer different foods or materials. Right-click the bird with the appropriate item. If successful, the bird will show a sign of bonding, such as a collar or changed appearance.

Using Your Tamed Bird

Tamed birds can assist you during survival gameplay. They may help with navigation, warn you of danger, or provide other utility depending on their species. Keep your tamed bird close by staying nearby—if you travel too far away, it may become lost. Treat your bird well and it will remain loyal to you throughout your journey.
