How to Restore and Display Fossils
Preparing Fossils for Display
After excavation, fossils can be cleaned and prepared for display. Use a Fossil Workbench or similar crafting station to process raw fossils. This removes excess sediment and prepares the bones or artifacts for assembly.
Building Displays
Once cleaned, fossils can be placed on Display Blocks or mounted in Fossil Frames to create museum-quality exhibits. Arrange multiple bones from the same skeleton to reconstruct complete creatures. Position display blocks in a dedicated room or museum area to showcase your paleontological collection.
Different fossil types require different assembly approaches—some form complete skeletons, while others are partial remains. Experiment with different arrangements to create visually interesting displays that tell the story of prehistoric life in your world.
