Getting Started with Iron Man Suits

Begin by crafting the Armor Modification Configurator block—use a recipe mod like JEI to view the recipe. Place this block in your world to access suit upgrades.

Craft iron armor pieces and use Upgrade Templates inside the configurator to transform them from Mark 1 to Mark 9 versions. Each upgrade improves your suit's capabilities.

Once you have an Iron Armor Helmet, equip it to activate the high-tech HUD display, which shows your Y-level, flight speed, and information about nearby mobs.

Power your suits using the Arc Reactor and battery items. Note that the Arc Reactor can inflict poison effects over time. You can also store your complete armor set in a suitcase for easy transport, and fire energy blasts at enemies while wearing your suit.
