Choosing Your Farm Type

Forestry offers several multiblock farm structures, each designed for different crops: Crop Farm for standard plants, Arboretum for tree farming, and specialized farms for other resources.

Building a Basic Crop Farm

1. Gather the required materials and construct the multiblock structure according to the pattern—typically a frame with a central control block.

2. Place Fertilizer in the designated input slot (compost or other fuel sources work).

3. Stock the farm with Seeds of your chosen crop.

4. Connect Pipes or item conduits to extract harvested crops automatically.

5. Power the farm with energy—Forestry farms require RF or equivalent power.

Optimization Tips

Use Humus and quality fertilizer to boost growth speed. Automate seed replanting with hoppers and item sorters. Combine multiple farms for large-scale production. Upgrade to larger farm variants as your infrastructure grows to maximize yield and efficiency.
